Coaches and InstructorsMeet the Coaches Julie Levasseur

June 23, 2021
  • Originally from Treaty 4 Territory (Regina, SK), Julie is honoured to now live, work, and play on the traditional territories of the W̱SÁNEĆ Nations where she is completing a Master’s Degree with a focus on physical literacy. Over the past 20 years, Julie has coached competitive RG as well as Gymnastics for All (recreational) and has been an active member of the Gymnaestrada community. She has attended 4 Canadian Gymnaestradas, 5 World Gymnaestradas and in 2019, she was the head coach and choreographer of Team Saskatchewan Gymnaestrada, who represented Canada in the FIG Gala (Dornbirn, AUT). Julie’s practice is informed by her training as a national level rhythmic gymnast, NCCP Level 3 coach, national level judge, and Master Coach Developer. Today, she is excited to continue her work with TSG (from a distance!) while sharing her passion for inclusive, multi-discipline performance gymnastics with teams across Western Canada.
